Volunteers needed to pack Snack Packs (bags of prepared food) once each month for about two hours at Berea Community School. Must be able to pack, lift, and carry bags of groceries weighing up to approximately 15 lbs. Contact Angela Anderson at 985-8922 for details.

Pastor Kent returned from sabbatical today after four months of travel, reading, eating, and rest. As the picture shows, however, there may have been some unfortunate side effects to his long absence. 🙂  Ready or not, Rev. Public Forum at Madison County Public Library, Berea Speakers: Ben Griffith, Rosalind Harris, Shekinah Lavelle Rosalind Harris of Lexington now works on issues related to social justice. Her 18-year-old son, Jamil, was murdered in Lexington in 1997. Ben Griffith of Frankfort lost his brother Chris to murder in 1986 in a random act of violence… Read more.
