Seeds of Change “Joy” by Janis Ian
During the recording, graciously provided by Janis, who could not be here today in person, please accept the small gift of seed brought to you by the ushers.
¨ Blessing the Way from The Sacred Pipe Kent Gilbert
Following the blessing as the music begins, please enjoy a moment of fellowship with one another before coming down to the reception. Joy and family will go ahead of the congregation to prepare a traditional “spirit plate” as we honor Stephen and all who have passed into the wider life. You are welcome to join for this simple ritual , but please do not begin eating or drinking until invited to do so.
Music from Stephen’s Playlists
¨ Those who wish are invited to rise in body or in spirit for these moments.
All are invited to the Community Room After the Service
to share stories, food and fellowship. Pictures and memorabilia from Stephen’s long and fruitful life are displayed on the tables and all are welcome to greet Joy and the family at this time.
