Union Church Cares for Creation! Volunteers needed! Join us at the Solar Fair and Blessing of the Animals, 11am-2pm Oct. 6th, at the Berea Welcome Center (Train Depot). To love the creator is to necessarily love creation. As part of our ongoing stewardship of God’s gifts, we are letting people know of our efforts to care for creation with our love and labors. In honor of St. Francis of Assisi Day, Rev. Kent will once again be leading a special Blessing of the Animals. Bring your pet (leashed or in appropriate container) to the Welcome center anytime from 11:00 am-2:00 pm. He will lead a special interfaith service of thanksgiving for our animal companions at 12:00 noon. If you can lend an hour of your time to help staff the Union Church booth, please see Kent today or contact the office: 986-3725.
