Betsy Whaley to the pulpit as she brings the word about our church’s “Strategic Doing” prayers and plans; and are delighted to have Berea College’s Bluegrass Ensemble, directed by Sam Gleaves, as special musical guests. Rev. Kent has been invited to celebrate the installation of former Union Church member and intern, The Rev. Mark Pettis, to his new church in Cleveland, OH.

Union Church has been selected as a “Luke 10, Learning to Do Justice” congregation. Rev. Kent and a team of members will travel to a special training in Maryland, Sept 25-29 and will return with innovative ways to help our community stand against Christian Nationalism and stand for the full and fair inclusion of ALL people in God’s vision of hope and justice.
