Open Table Supper for ALL Community Meals – Every Wednesday 5:30pm-6:30pm: “Open Table” is a “pay what you can” ($0-$$) meal open to anyone. Chef Deb Beishline and a wonderful crew of volunteers prepare the meal each week – always with gluten free and vegetarian-friendly options. Our hope is to remember the gifts of connection with great food the chance to “rub elbows” with neighbors. The food is great, the company is better, the hungry are fed, and we pray the love Jesus will be shown!

New Members Welcomed Sept. 20 (3rd Sunday of a month)! As a family of faith committed to boldly & creatively embodying the life and ministry of Jesus, we would like to join with YOU. We’d like to be a context and inspiration for your own spiritual path, and work with you to make your heart, your world, your life more peace-filled and joy-full.

On the third Sundays of the month there will be an opportunity to covenant together — whether you are a member of the community who worships online, in-person, or both! No prior action on your part is required, but if you have any questions at all, we’d like to help. Working together, we want to make God’s love visible & real to all!

Berea College’s OneReunion Weekend is coming up Sept. 25-27. We’re excited to let you know that our own choir and Berea College’s Homecoming Choir, under the direction of Dr. Steve Bolster and Dr. XT Hong, will sing on Sunday morning (27th) at Worship and Rev. Christina Ryan Perkins, newly appointed Executive Director of Spiritual Formation and the Campus Christian Center at Berea College ,  (‘98) will preach!

Would anyone like to set up an info booth on behalf of Union Church at the Berea Earth Warriors’ festival on Saturday October 17th? The festival runs from 10am – 10pm, but the booth can happen at any time during the day. (Even just an hour is great!). If so, please talk to Laura Nagle at 859-358-0106 (text or call) or joyfulsunflower@gmail.com. Church Council voted to financially support this festival, using funds from the Loyal Jones memorial, in remembrance of his love for the natural beauty of our region.
