Good morning,
Many of our children’s parents were sickly, seriously ill and most died from HIV/AIDS complications, malaria, maternal death, and other diseases. Some were abandoned by their family members who could not adequately feed them or afford medical care which could take miles of walking to government hospitals. As a result, some often resort to work in stone quarries, fetch water for people, sell sugarcane pieces on streets or collect plastic bottles to recycle, in order to survive for a day or even education. It’s only through Education that we can all break the cycle of poverty — and it is a fundamental right of every child.
Last year I started a school – Samuel’s Kids Academy Primary School – within the interior of our compound to respond to the rising number of children living in the community with no access to education and many other life struggles at their tender age such as clothing, food, and access to medical care, protection, security or hope to seek the best interests of each child, address the areas of individual needs, providing a healthy, security, a home and a loving environment that will enable them to reach their full emotional, cognitive, social, and moral development.
Many of these kids are so talented and they only need someone to help discover their hidden potential! These children began this year’s first term on February 4 and funds are badly needed. In order for these children to continue attending school, we will need to enlarge the space, re-construct and renovate the existing temporary structures before soon! Any donation, no matter how small, it will make a huge impact.
These children are praying for an open door. When you give, God is using you to show them that He is faithful to meet their needs. All donations will be used solely for this purpose.
