Better late than never for prayer, right? We had a lot of technical problems with our internet last week and so could not upload much of what happened in the service, but our youth led a FANTASTIC service, testifying to the ways they’ve seen Jesus’ revolution in their lives and have heard the call for each of us to revolutionize our lives. Here is the prayer of the week, written by Della Walters:
Lord, we ask that you transform our promises of change from words into actions, which are carried out enthusiastically. Guide us as we stand up and speak out, giving us courage to join in your revolution. Let us not be lost in habits we do not understand, but open our eyes to new potential. Help us to see the ways in which our hands can be put to work to spread your all inclusive love. We are part of your revolution, Lord, ready to learn and grow in pursuit of justice. Amen.
