Let’s Eat! June 30 will be Pastor Kent’s last Sunday with us before he starts a well-deserved sabbatical rest. After worship that morning everyone is invited for a picnic to wish him well and to meet and welcome our sabbatical replacement minister, the Rev. Nate Craddock.
Help Needed! The picnic will be at Rev. Kent and Diana’s house with burgers, veggie burgers, and hot dogs provided, but to make it a party, we need a little help! When you click below you’ll see some simple jobs: helping set up tables, or cooking burgers, or helping take down tables when done. Many hands make light work and we want everyone to enjoy, so every job is small (but important!).
Creek Clean-Up Mission! After we’ve eaten, those who can are invited to participate in a mission of cleaning up of a section of Brushy Fork (running right by Rev. Kent’s house where we baptize) as part of our mission to care for creation. This family-friendly activity is suited to nearly every age (please help supervise our youngest and dearest participants!) and will take us about an hour or so to help keep the waters clear and clean.
