Welcome to Rev. Dr. LeSette Wright, who brings the Word this morning. Rev. LeSette joined the Willis D. Weatherford, Jr. Campus Christian Center in 2018 as a Chaplain, from Boston, Massachusetts, where she served in the fields of Chaplaincy, Mental Health and Public Health. She has a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology and Guidance from Temple University, a Master of Arts in Spanish Bilingual/Bicultural Studies from LaSalle University, a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and she earned a certificate from the Harvard Divinity School Leadership Summer Institute. Rev. LeSette is Dean of Danforth Chapel and supervises the Campus Christian Center and its Chaplains.
Special musical guests are RedBud Revival, an acoustic duo of Steve Emery and Maranda Weckman. Thank you for sharing your gifts!
Welcome back to our Luke 10 team, who had a training in Baltimore last week! They are Rev. Kent, Our Moderator Rev. Betsy Whaley, Joy Gritton, Black Bear LaBoueff, and Maranda Weckman. Ask them to tell you about it!!
Rev. Kent is away in Huntsville, Ontario (about 3 hrs north of Toronto) on a family weekend with Diana helping officiate the wedding of dear family friends.
Our Mission and Service Board is collecting food for the Madison County backpack program. This backpack goes home with children to make sure they have access to food over the weekend. There is a bin in the vestibule with a photo of the food needed. These items are the most expensive for the program to purchase. Will you please add one of two cans to your grocery list? Your donations are much appreciated!

Oct. 10, Second Friday Sharing Jennifer Elam and Katy Lashbrook invite you to a new event called “2nd Friday Sharing”, starting 10/10/25 from 5:30-8pm. From 5:30-6:15, we will learn something new together (10/10 will be a lesson on 5 Rhythms dance); 6:15-7, potluck; 7-8, a circle of sharing your creativity- can be art, tomatoes u grew, poem, story, lesson plans, music – something u created. Oct. 11, Berea Old Time Music Circle will hold its twice-monthly jams on October 11th and October 25th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. We are returning to the Union Church “Parlor” room for the cool/cold months coming up. This a free and open jam to all musical abilities including singers, dancers, players, and just listeners. All Are Welcome.
