How much can our hearts and minds hold?
Help us stay human.
No. Make us even more human.
Have gratitude for our grocery checker
Say “I love you” to the distant sister
Check in with our elderly neighbor
May we feel the heaviness in our hearts
Not weighing us down
Not drawing us inward
But as an anchor tethering us to here, now
