Berea College Inauguration Events this Week! Celebrate Berea College’s 10th president, Dr. Cheryl Nixon, and all the students, staff, and faculty who undertake this vital educational ministry. Union Church founded Berea College in 1855 and remains a prayerful partner in its ongoing mission.
Events open to the public and livestreamed are happening throughout the next week, culminating in a Friday Concert here at Union, Saturday morning Inauguration Service, Afternoon Fair and Evening Bonfire. Information and tickets (some events are limited by space) are available at berea.edu/president/inauguration
Join “Theology in the Round”, Wednesday 6:30pm! Dr. Jeff Pool and Rev. Kent Gilbert guide a free-wheeling and wide-ranging discussion of all things “God.” This week we’ll be discussing “resurrection”, what it might be, and what it might mean. You don’t have to be a theologian to join, nor a member of the church. Everyone’s experience and thoughts are welcome!

Berea Leadership Experience is a powerful day camp led by a community collaboration of churches, non-profits, and government groups.

Thai Lunch fundraiser April 14! Union Church college student ministry, ConneXions, is working to raise funds for our Spring Retreat to the Smoky Mountains.
We are offering this Thai Luncheon event which will include live music with Berea College student, Cansas Dowell, Original hand-made jewelry for sale by student, Chloe Beyler, and an incredible Thai meal prepared by Betsy Whaley.
