Prayer in Action
Each week the pastors will have suggestions to put your prayers into action for the greater “Kin-dom of God.” Suggestions may include resources to educate yourself on topics of justice or spirituality. We are partnering with the Kentucky Council of Churches (11 denominations representing over 800,000 Kentuckians) in focusing on areas of spiritual and practical need. This week prayers for Justice Reform are critical. You can put your prayers into action by reading the KCC outline document: http://www.kycouncilofchurches.org/s/KCC-Statement-on-Criminal-Justice.docx. You can join in prayer about these issues at the Legislature on Feb 7, in room 111 of the Annex. Rev. Kent and many Union Church members will be going. If you can’t go consider emailing or calling.
