You are all invited Friday, March 17th at 6 PM to – an Irish dinner/dance to celebrate Rev Kent’s 20th Anniversary at Union Church (and 25th in ministry). To honor Kent, we are doing this as a fundraiser in support of Berea Home Village – a project to allow folks to stay in their own homes as they age – here in Berea which Kent has been actively working on for several years.

Irish and/or St Patrick’s Day attire is encouraged. Irish fare will be on the menu – including Corned Beef and Cabbage (by Kevin Burke) and Chocolate Shamrock Cake. Entertainment will include music by Stan & Susan Pross Kramer, Al and Alice White, Andy Blyth and other Celtic musicians followed by rolling up the tables and calling of a few Irish jigs. A “Roast” of Kent is planned and if you have a favorite story to share – please see Andy. Leprechaun helpers are needed – please talk to Sue Peterson if you can help out. Dietary options will be available – but must be reserved in advance.
All who’d like to will be asked to decorate personal “prayer flags” at WNL with their favorite Irish Blessing for Kent which will be collected and displayed at the community room dinner.
