Union Church is a primary sponsor for this year’s “Apostle’s Build” for Habitat for Humanity of Madison and Clark Counties. This house is being built in Berea, in the Dixie Park neighborhood, and thanks to your hard work and many generous gifts we’ve been able to donate over $5000.00 so far!
Working with other churches in the city, we’ve blessed the foundation and the walls are starting to rise. Over the next weeks they will need our help to supply workers, feed the volunteers, and pray for the success of the project.
To help us do that, Rev. Kent and the Mission Board are seeking a project cheerleader to coordinate our participation. The job involves connecting with HforH staff to know the needs, and helping get volunteers from our church interested and ready to help. Things are moving fast, so we need someone pronto to help fulfill our mission!
Volunteers for working on the house AND for the coordinator job should contact the office or Rev. Kent as soon as possible! We are raising the roof for affordable housing! Come help!
