Energy for Change:A March and Rally for Clean Energy & Healthy Communities will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, June 20. The march begins at 3rd and Market Streets in downtown Louisville and rally at the Belvedere.
Faith communities from across Kentucky are joining with the visiting Unitarian Universalist Assembly members to say: “We need to stop the harmful effects of practices like mountaintop removal, hydraulic fracturing, mining, and drilling. We need to protect our children and communities from the harmful impacts that come from the burning and storing of fossil fuels and their waste products.”
Join UUA President Rev. Peter Morales, Wendell Berry, Tim DeChristopher (environmental activist and subject of the documentary “Bidder 70”) along with; interfaith and community leaders to hear testimonies, join in song, and learn practical ways for how you can make a difference in your life and in your community.
