Drive-Through Blessing of the Animals, Oct. 10, 10-12

Drive-through Blessing of the Animals October 10, 10 – noon, at the Berea Utilities Parking lot. Bring your animal buddy, stuffed animal buddy or a photo to receive a blessing in observance of the Feast of St. Francis, who loved all creation, and is the patron saint of animals and ecology. Rev. Kent will offer the blessings. For the safety of Rev. Kent, volunteer helpers, and all humans involved, please stay in your cars or observe social distancing.

Good St. Francis, Patron Saint of animals, you loved all of God’s creatures. To you they were brothers and sisters. Help us to follow your example
of treating every living thing with kindness. Dear God, watch over and keep my dear companion safe and healthy. Amen.
