. . . The solar panels on our roof generated over 11,000 kWh of electricity which was 14% of the electricity used and that is only for 6 months. We anticipate that over 25% of our electricity will be generated over twelve months.
. . . Union Church has 12 solar panels in the Berea Municipal Utility Solar Farm locate on Harrison Street and these panels saved us $229 on our utility bill in 2016.
. . . The churches energy consumption (electricity and natural gas) is 56.6% lower per degree day in 2016 than it was in 2007 when we started tracking energy use and looking for ways to lower our carbon footprint.
. . . The Lenten Lunches start on Sunday, March 5th. Come for the fellowship and donate as though you are going out for lunch after church. The funds raised and friends made support the ministries of the church.
