Jan. 5 – Calendar Concern – Rev. Kent has jury duty beginning January 5. We won’t know what that’ll entail for his calendar until the date happens. Pls. be aware that cancellations may occur.
Welcome to Christmas Country Dance School Friends and Guests… Each year Berea hosts the annual Christmas Country Dance School with dancers, musicians, and craftspeople from around the country and the world. We are delighted to welcome participants to Union Church, including the many who have agreed to lend their talents to our service this morning. Welcome in, one and all!
Open Table Community Meals Every Wednesday 5:30pm-6:30pm:“Open Table” is a “pay what you can” ($0-$$) meal open to anyone. Chef Deb Beishline and a wonderful crew of volunteers prepare the menu each week always with gluten-free and vegetarian-friendly options . The food is great, the company is better, the hungry are fed, and we pray the love Jesus will be shown!

Room in the Inn (RITI)’s 8th season begins Jan. 1, 2026. RITI is a seasonal shelter serving those experiencing homelessness during the winter in Berea, Kentucky. Want to help? RITI is an all-volunteer organization.
You can help by:
· Helping to prepare a meal
· Serving a meal
· Registering guests
· Driving the shuttle bus
· Attending a training on January 18, 3-5 pm at Union Church’s Community Room.
