Longnight Service of Prayers for Healing, Tonight, Dec 21, 7pm. Each year, on the longest night of the year, we gather in Cowan Chapel (our smaller worship space on the Scaffold Cane side of the building), for prayers for healing. The season, with its lights and bustle can overlook those who may not be feeling the joy of the season.
This service is a Christmas service for anyone and everyone feeling close to grief, sadness, emptiness. It is a “come as you emotionally are” service meant to acknowledge difficulty and to be reminded of small lights around us all.
Dancing In the Light on Christmas Eve! Dancers of any ability are invited to help us dance in the light. Practice at the church on the 23rd from 4-5. Arrive at the church at 5:40 on the 24th. Text or call Grace McKenzie to let her know if you plan on joining! 859-358-3156.
Dec. 23 – Help us deck the tables! We’re decorating the Community Room on Tuesday December 23 from 3–5 PM, and many hands make light—and festive—work. Laughter and Christmas spirit guaranteed.
