Today our worship is lifted by the voices of the Berea Classic Chorale under the direction of church member, Larry Brandenburg (our former director of music before his retirement!). The chorale rehearses in our building and includes voices from around the community. Those interested in singing with the choir may contact Larry at larkburg@gmail.com

Longnight Service of Prayers for Healing, Saturday, Dec 21, 7pm. Each year in Cowan Chapel (our smaller worship space), we gather prayers for healing. The season with it’s lights and bustle can overlook those who may not be feeling the joy of the season. Losses of every kind continue to ache long after the events, and the stresses and struggles to be whole and well are often long and hard. This service is a Christmas service for anyone and everyone feeling close to grief, sadness, emptiness. It is a “come as you emotionally are” service meant to acknowledge difficulty and to be reminded of small lights around us all.
About tonight’s Compline Service: The Sabbath Compline at 6:30 pm in Cowan Chapel is a night prayer of psalm, silence, and song — a creative hush with God at the end of the day at the beginning of the week.
Cowan Chapel is adjacent to Union Church on the Scaffold Cane Rd. side.
