Naomi Schulz, Union Church member and recent intern has graduated seminary at Pacific School of Religion, and accepted a call to the Congregation for Reconciliation in Dayton, OH. She will celebrate her ordination to ministry in the United Church of Christ, Saturday, September 19th in Dayton. We want to get her a gift from the congregation that will support her new ministry.
A tradition in the United Church (both Rev. Kent and Rev. Rachel are UCC) is that home church family and friends give the newly ordained minister a preaching robe. We found a great provider, and had a robe cut to Naomi’s specifications. Now we’re soliciting donations so that the robe can be from all of us! If you are able to give just click the button below and enter a contribution in any amount. The total cost of the robe was $350, so any contribution large or small will wrap her up in love whenever she preaches the Gospel.
