Thanks to everyone who participated in our October 29 Consecration Sunday for our 2018 Pledges. It was a great start and we’ve already received 50 pledges toward next year’s vision! The Feminist Artists of Kentucky present the Third Annual “Images of Ghana” Art Exhibit Fundraiser, on display at the Union Church Pross Gallery during the entire month of November. 100% of proceeds and donations benefit school children in Komfenku, Ghana, and hurricane Relief in Puerto Rico. Quilt Winner!
The winner of the quilt drawing on October 8 bought her winning ticket at the Spoonbread Festival! Shirley, from Somerset, sent us this picture of the quilt in its new home. $462 was raised for Mission & Service Board projects by selling quilt raffle tickets and $125 from Jean Boyce’s jam (sold in the office)….
