Take Precautions with Play Dates!
Even though children are not seen to be as at risk that doesn’t mean they are immune. And just because a person shows only mild symptoms doesn’t mean that those they give it to will have a mild case. This is great time to talk about care for neighbors and friends and the ways we can do that.
Online chat for your kids with friends and family might be a great way to keep them safe and connected (you too!).
Make handwashing a ritual EVERYONE observes EVERY TIME you change activities.
Be careful and caring with food sharing. Visiting a neighbor is great, but if that person is at-risk, it could be scary for them. Call first, make arrangements, keep 6′ distance.
Here’s a prayer we can all share, young and old:
Dear God of all living and life, help us be good to one another. Help us be smart and caring. Help us love and laugh even when we are unsure of what comes next. We put our trust in you and we put our hearts to work for those we love. May we love like Jesus, now and always. Amen!
