Annual Christmas Concert at Phelps Stokes, December 2 & 3, 8:00 pm both nights. This annual Christmas concert, co-sponsored by the Berea College Music Program and the Campus Christian Center, will be held on two successive nights Friday, December 2 and Saturday, December 3. Both performances will begin at 8:00 p.m. in Phelps Stokes Chapel on the Berea College campus.
The concerts this year are being recorded for broadcast on Christmas Eve by CBS-TV affiliates nationwide. All are invited to attend this popular event and to join in the singing of traditional carols accompanied by College Organist Dr. Javier Clavere. Music of the season will be performed by the college’s Black Music Ensemble, Bluegrass Music Ensemble, Concert Choir, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble and Women’s Chorus. Plan to attend this special Christmas celebration to usher in Berea’s Christmas Season!
