This shield took about three years to make, including a two-year Bible study of all the “Do not fear” passages. It is centered on God’s Genesis 15 covenant with Abram in which God says, “Do not fear, for I am a shield to you.”
The design, hand-drawn on leather with precision markers, is copied from Union Church’s red Celtic cross banner and contains 81 “Do not fear” passages. — Debbonnaire Kovacs
