About Sunday Compline Service: The Sabbath Compline at 6:30 pm in Cowan Chapel (on the Scaffold Cane Rd. side of Union) is a night prayer of psalm, silence, and song — a creative hush with God at the end of the day at the beginning of the week.
On this second Sunday of Easter, we’ll revisit Psalm 146, which reminds us to “Put no trust in princes, in mortal man who cannot save,” and we’ll sing the Taizé Laudate Dominum (Sing, praise and bless the Lord). Cantor: David Duffee; Instrumentalists, Lisa Vaughn, Robert Rorrer

JAG’s mission is to inspire, empower, and prepare the youth of the community to become leaders in tomorrow’s workforce. They assist students in overcoming barriers so they will graduate from high school and transition into the workforce and post secondary education. Learn more about JAGKY at jagky.org or the national organization at jag.org. Due to significant shortfalls in the Berea Community School budget, the JAG program was cut.
Community partners and BCS students will come together in the planning and performing of this fundraiser in the hopes of funding JAG for next school year, while grant funding is being sought as a long-term solution.
