Alternative Market & Soup Lunch! Can you help?

December 10, 2012

Peace on Earth, Good Will to All!  Wonderful sentiments for Christmas, but how do we work to bring those sentiments to life in today’s time?  How do we bring the true meaning of Christmas to our friends and family?  Christmas with a Conscience is the perfect place to do your shopping for gifts that reflect the original sentiments of Christmas.
It will be held on December 16th in St. Clare Catholic Church Community Room from 11:00-1:30pm. Come and buy gifts and enjoy a soup lunch.  Information on over 20 local, state, national and international non-profit organizations will be available for alternative giving along with hot soup and good conversation with friends and neighbors at the Dec. 16th event.
Come and shop for that alternative gift that your loved one would appreciate – a donation toward health care, a gift of food or housing for those in need, or protection of our natural resources.  Each gift will include a certificate to send to your recipient and a tax-deduction to boot! Come join in one of the BEST WAYS TO CELEBRATE.  Give the gift that fits with your loved ones’ hopes and dreams for a better world and spread the original meaning and spirit of Christmas!
Want to help?  We’re looking for people to bring soups, cookies, and loaves of bread. ( You’ll get your crock pots back!)  Contact Joan English through the Contact Us page, and she’ll get you connected to the coordinators.
