Budgets are a form of prayer: a sacred trust to steward our resources for the blessing God calls us to be. Here is the 2017 Proposed budget to be considered by the membership December 11, 2016, 12:30pm. (Meeting follows worship and an 11:45 soup lunch). Both summary and detailed budgets are available below along with supporting documents.
Many Boards and Church Council have worked hard to be faithful, but as the explanation document shows below, as of this moment we have a significant deficit to overcome.
The ministry of this vital Christian community and its voice for Jesus’ inclusive justice and joy is desperately needed. We need all hearts and minds on the job of helping us nurture and sustain that vision. Church Council has some ideas and in order to give us time to implement, we are proposing this provisional deficit budget in hope that God will provide us with the means to stretch and grow financially. We are so grateful to those who have already pledged and stretched. Thank you! Others can still help with donations or an additional pledge.
