Christmas Eve at Union Church. Early Service at 5:30 pm, Gathering Music of the Season starts about 5:00. A Berea tradition — candle-lit service with music of the season by the church choir, orchestra, handbell ensemble, and special guests Al, Alice & Ruth, Deborah Payne and others! Rev. Kent will share the Christmas Story, and a finger food reception will be held afterwards in the Community Room. Contributions to the finger food reception are always welcome! Bring to the kitchen downstairs before the service. An offering will be taken to benefit Bereans United for Utility and Rent Relief (BUURR). Childcare provided.
11:00 pm Service in Cowan Chapel. You are invited to Union Church’s 11:00 pm candle-lit communion service in Cowan Chapel to joyfully welcome the Christ Child at midnight with music and prayer. Please join us as we Wait and Watch for the Advent of the Lord.
In January, our first Wednesday-of-the-Month Potluck will be on January 8, since the 1st is New Year’s Day. See you then!
Union Church’s Annual Meeting will be March 15, 2020. Board chairs, please start thinking about your Annual Reports.
