America’s Original Sin: Racism, White Privilege, and the Bridge to New America.
This book, written by a white evangelical minister who has been at the forefront of Civil Rights advocacy since the 1960s, will be a jumping-off point for the church to discuss issues of race, religion, and politics in the U.S. We will meet each Wednesday night after Wednesday Night Live supper, at 7pm in the Union Church classroom. The class will meet each Wednesday in Lent, Feb. 17th – March 23rd.
If you can’t join us for the class, or even for a session of the class, the study guide we’ll be using is below. We’ll also be sending out regular emails to the class and those interested in following along from home.
We’ve ordered more books from Robie books, but if you want to purchase a Kindle copy or buy your own, you’ll find the book here.

We look forward to the discussion!
